Thorp Gallery is a new artist -run local gallery focussing on sharing local talent with the community. We aim to have a rolling series of exhibitions but have a standing collection of both analogue and digital photography by resident artist Scott Thorp.

Scott Thorp is an artist working primarily in analogue photography aiming to explore perceptions of the New Zealand Landscape through photographic processes. Scott uses Large format Film and traditional darkroom techniques to capture superb photographs of New Zealand wilderness.
